BSY has no moral right to support Hazare

While the Chief Minister claims that there has been no illegal mining during his tenure, the Supreme court appointed Central Empowered Committee report clearly mentions about the ongoing mining, AICC spokesperson Abhishek Singhvi he said.

Yeddyurappa and the BJP state unit had come out in support of Hazare when the anti-corruption crusader went on an indefinite fast on the Jan Lokpal bill issue.

Karnataka ranked first in graft in the country, Singhvi alleged and demanded a CBI probe into the "mining scam" in the state and that Yeddyurappa resign on moral grounds.

"Neither Yeddyurappa nor State BJP unit has any moral right to support Anna Hazare?s anti-corruption movement, when they themselves were corrupt," he said.
