Mathura: Campaigning for Congress, Bollywood actress Nagma today said that Mayawati Government in Uttar Pradesh has wasted the central funds in "shining its elephants".
"The funds sanctioned by the Centre for the development of the state were misused by the Mayawati government in shining its elephants," Nagma said here campaigning for Congress candidate Pradeep Mathur.
She also charged the BSP Government with misusing funds meant for the National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) and neglecting development.
