Bhopal: The Opposition Congress has claimed introduction of no-confidence motion in Assembly against the BJP Government in Madhya Pradesh marks the beginning of the countdown of the "corrupt" administration.

Leader of Opposition in Assembly Ajay Singh has said the Shivraj Singh Chouhan Government, which is in its second term, has lost its "credibility". "The BJP Government has not only lost credibility with the people but also shows lack of confidence because of its misdeeds," he said, addressing a meeting of Congress MLAs here on Wednesday evening.

Ajay said the Government was in a state of panic because of the no-trust motion. It was because of this it was trying to create "misunderstanding" with the help of media. He said the no-trust move was an opportunity to attack a Government which was "corrupt" and "mistreating" Dalits, women and those belonging to weaker sections of the society.

Ajay appealed to Congress MLAs and other Opposition legislators to speak against the Government forcefully during discussion on the motion, which was moved on November 21, the first day of the winter session of the Assembly.
