Kolkata: Aspiring young girls and boys should opt for the right platform where they can learn the ropes to make their presence in the field, Femina Miss India east 2010 winner Unnati Davara said on Monday evening.

"This is the right platform for the wannabe models as they can go through the right grooming sessions by leaders in the field and grow," Davara said at the `Pantaloons Fresh Face Hunt after the two winners were announced from east.

"Elegance, poise, self-confidence are the pre-requisites for such contestants as well as style sense and this can very well work towards in them turning successful on ramp," actor Rituparna Sengupta told PTI during the contest.

To a question about the contestants taking plunge into show-business in later stage, Sengupta said "once some of them become successful, then why not?"

"It gives me immense pleasure to be here this evening and cheer for these young talents who have tirelessly worked to reach this platform. I must congratulate Pantaloons as well for organizing the Fresh Face Contest, a competition where potential young models can participate, be groomed and given a launchpad for furthering their passion," Rituparna said.

Desinger Abhishek Dutta said "the organizers must be applauded for giving these youths the stage, proper guidance and the opportunity to prove themselves. Moreover, me as designer I am thrilled to be present here and judge them."

Moumita Sarkar won the girls round, while Anuj Jaiswal became the winner in the boys category. Both the winners are to go to Mumbai to take part in the Grand Finale to be held on June 23. Charulata 2011 Director Agnidev Chatterjee, was also one of the three judges.
