Keonjhar: Armed miscreants looted Rs 15 lakh from employees of a private company after opening fire on their vehicle in Keonjhar district on Saturday.

Police said three employees of the company and the driver of the jeep were returning here after withdrawing the money from a bank when the miscreants attacked them near Baneikala, they said.

They fired and injured the driver on his right shoulder before decamping with the cash.

The driver was later admitted to a hospital.

A massive manhunt has been launched to nab the misreants, the police added.
