Kochi: Aiming to promote the concept of graceful ageing, An Internationa Anti Ageing medical conference and Expo will be held here from April 26-28.

Though the anti-ageing concept is gaining popularity all over the world, the conference does not aim to reverse the process of ageing. Instead, it aims to arrest premature ageing and promote ageing a graceful experience, said.

The Indian Nutritional Medical Association (INMA) in association with Rotary Cochin Central will be organising the conference.

Launching the official logo of the event, state Health minister, V S Sivakumar said such a conference was of great importance, particularly, in Kerala which is known as the capital of lifestyle diseases.

The organisers aim to bring medical professionals, scientists and researchers on a common platform for the benefit of the common man who wants to remain physically fit.

The Expo will have stalls from the areas of health, beauty, fitness, food, nutrition, medicine, biotechnology, bio informatics, genetics, environmental science and cellular engineering.

The Conference will witness brain-storming sessions and seminars open to the public at no cost. The event is being organized jointly by the INMA and Rotary Club to raise funds for a social cause, a press release here said.
