Couple, married 3 days back, killed in road accident in Odisha 

A newly-wed couple died on Monday while undergoing treatment at MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur for injuries they sustained in a road accident. 

The deceased have been identified as CH Praneta, a resident of Berhampur and G Benu of Ichhapur in Andhra Pradesh. 

According to sources, Praneta and Benu got married on February 10. Three days later, they were returning to Berhampur on a bike. 

While they were negotiating a curve in front of the Golanthara Police Station, their bike collided head-on with a tractor coming from the opposite direction.  
Severely injured, Praneta and Benu were immediately rushed to MKCG Medical College and Hospital. While undergoing treatment, they succumbed. 

Meanwhile, the tractor driver has since been absconding. Golanthara Police have launched a manhunt to nab the driver.
