3 Killed, 6 Injured After Car Falls Into 70-Ft Deep Gorge In Odisha's Kandhamal

In a tragic accident, three persons were killed and six other suffered injuries after the car they were travelling in slipped off the ghat road and fell into a 70-feet deep gorge in Odisha's Kandhamal district on Tuesday.

As per reports, nine youths from Bhaliapada village under Raikia police limits were travelling in a vehicle for picnicking. However, the driver lost control of the vehicle and it slipped off the road near Dantaling in Sorada area of Ganjam district before falling into the Karada ghati, which is around 70-feet deep. 

While 3 youths died on spot, 6 others were grievously injured. The injured persons have been rushed to a hospital in Raikia for treatment.

Of the three youths who died in the mishap, two have been identified as Lia Das Paricha and Paban Digal of Bhaliapada's Digi.
