A computer that uses a typewriter instead of a keyboard

London: A designer in the US has created what he claims is a computer which allows one to use a typewriter instead of a keyboard.

The USB Typewriter conversion kit plugs into the USB port on a laptop, monitor or iPad via a sensor board, says its inventor Jack Zylkin. "It`s new and ground-breaking innovation in the field of obsolescence," he said.

The modification is "easy to install", according to a statement on `usbtypewriter.Com`

"It involves no messy wiring, and does not change the outward appearance of the typewriter (except for the usb adapter itself, which is mounted in the rear of the machine)," the `Daily Mail` quoted the statement.
