10 dacoits arrested, stolen goods seized

Acting on a tip-off, a police team conducted raid at a hideout and arrested the ten dacoits, who were operating mainly on the national highway passing through Keonjhar district for the last three months, they said.

Police seized 12 trucks, four jeeps, 41 tonnes of iron rod, 10 tonnes of iron angle, 16 mobile phones and ATM card from their possession, Manoranjan Mohanty, Additional Superintendent of police said.

Now search operation was being conducted to arrest five other members of the gang.
