Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026 crosses 4 crore registrations, sets new participation record

Registrations for the programme, which brings together students, parents and teachers, stood at more than four crore as of January 8, 2026. The overwhelming response highlights the increasing resonance of Pariksha Pe Charcha in addressing exam-related stress and promoting students’ mental well-being.

Pariksha Pe Charcha, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has evolved beyond an annual interaction into a nationwide movement focused on creating a positive, confident and stress-free environment for young learners. The scale and diversity of participation underline its emergence as a true Jan Andolan, fostering meaningful dialogue on education, well-being and holistic development.

The initiative encourages students, often referred to as “Exam Warriors” to actively engage in discussions on managing pressure, improving focus and maintaining emotional balance during examinations. The programme has gained recognition for offering practical guidance and motivation to students across the country.

Online registrations for Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026 opened on December 1, 2025, on the MyGov portal. Organised annually by the Department of School Education and Literacy under the Ministry of Education, the event has become a widely anticipated platform that enables direct interaction between the Prime Minister and the education community.
