Massive mandate for NDA in Bihar; BJP hails voters’ trust in PM Modi’s development mode
The BJP on Friday lauded the NDA’s strong performance in the Bihar Assembly elections, asserting that the voters of the state have once again endorsed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s model of development-oriented governance.
According to the latest trends, the BJP-led coalition has established substantial leads in over 200 out of Bihar’s 243 Assembly constituencies, with indications that the party is headed for one of its best results in the state.
BJP MP and chief spokesperson Anil Baluni said that the NDA was moving towards a sweeping victory, sharing visuals from PM Modi’s campaign in Bihar where the Prime Minister had predicted a historic mandate for the alliance.
Echoing similar sentiments, BJP MP Sambit Patra reposted Modi’s campaign clip with a Bhojpuri caption, describing the Modi–Nitish partnership as a winning combination for Bihar.
BJP spokesperson, Gopal Krishna Agarwal, said the voters of Bihar had reaffirmed their confidence in PM Modi’s development-driven approach and wished to be part of the state’s progress under the NDA.
BJP IT Cell head Amit Malviya also took aim at the RJD, noting that both of Lalu Prasad Yadav’s sons were trailing at that stage of counting. He added that even after two decades, the impact of the period often referred to as “jungle raj” continues to influence Bihar’s political atmosphere.
