Woman’s Death Raises Suspicion

The incident came to light after a 40-year-old woman died on January 9 under the limits of Aerodrome police station in Indore. Her husband took her body to the Government Maharaja Yashwantrao Hospital, claiming she had fallen at home after a sudden spike in blood pressure, leading to her death.

However, the circumstances surrounding the death soon raised suspicion among authorities, prompting a detailed medical examination.

Post-Mortem Exposes the Truth

According to Deputy Commissioner of Police Shrikrishna Lalchandani, the post-mortem report contradicted the husband’s version. The report clearly stated that the cause of death was strangulation, indicating foul play.

During sustained questioning by the police, the accused reportedly broke down and confessed to killing his wife. Investigators revealed that the man, a mechanic by profession, claimed his wife had refused to have sexual relations with him for the past eight years, which he said had led to growing anger and resentment.
