Gold, silver see biggest surge in 3 weeks; check prices across major cities on February 24

Gold prices hovered close to the Rs 1.62 lakh mark across major Indian cities on February 24, while silver traded around Rs 3 lakh per kilogram, with minor variations between markets.

Chennai recorded the highest gold price among the listed cities, while Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kerala and Pune shared the same rate. 

Bhubaneswar’s gold price stood marginally lower than Delhi and Ahmedabad but higher than several other metros.

While most cities reported silver at Rs 3,00,100 per kg, Bhubaneswar recorded a slightly lower rate at Rs 3,00,000.

Overall, precious metal prices remained firm across major urban centres on February 24, with only marginal city-wise differences in gold and silver rates.
