New Delhi: The water level of 91 major reservoirs in the country has gone down by two per cent, the Ministry of Water Resources said on Friday.

"The water storage available in 91 major reservoirs of the country for the week ending on April 20, 2017 was 46.02 billion cubic metres (BCM) which is 29 per cent of total storage capacity of these reservoirs. This percentage was at 31 for the week ending on April 13, 2017," the ministry said in an official statement.
