Union minister among four booked in assault case
Jaipur: A case has been registered against Union Minister of State Mahadev Singh Khandela and three others for allegedly assaulting a man, police said.
A person named Balbeer Bhartiya today filed a complaint at Khandela police station in Sikar district, alleging the Minister and three others beat him up while he had gone to hand over a memorandum, complaining about one of the government`s flagship schemes yesterday.
He alleged that they assaulted him and also snatched away the memory card of his mobile phone. The case will be transferred to CID-CB for investigation, police said.
Khandela could not be contacted for comments.
