Kolkata: Trinamool Congress, a major UPA ally, today said it would spell out its stand on the choice of candidate for the ensuing Presidential election at the "right time". "We are not saying anything now. At the right time the party will speak on this", TC General Secretary Mukul Roy told PTI here.

The railway minister made the statement when asked to comment on the NCP chief Sharad Pawar pitching for a non-political person as new President and former President A P J Abdul Kalam`s name doing the rounds as a nominee for the post.

After the recent meeting of Samajwadi Party MP Kiranmoy Nanda with West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in Kolkata, Nanda had said he had a "positive discussion" with the TC chief on the strategy of the two parties on the Presidential elections.
