New Delhi: With Egypt witnessing unprecedented protests against the Hosni Mubarak regime, Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar has postponed plans to lead an all-party delegation to the Arab country.

Kumar and her delegation were to leave for Cairo tonight but now the plan stands postponed in the wake of the developments there, official sources said.

Kumar`s visit to Egypt was a four-day affair.

The protest in Egypt have claimed at least 27 lives.
