The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha has released an important notification regarding online transfer admission for class 12 students under projects SAMS for the academic session 2025-26.
The transfer admission for class 12 (2nd Year) students for the academic session 2025-26 will be conducted on-line at www.samsodisha.gov.in.
Interested students can apply for transfer admission to another Higher Secondary School by following the provided guidelines. Class 12 students must log in to the SAMS portal using their existing user ID (mobile number) and password from the 2024-25 e-Admission.
Application Process:
The student can choose the Higher Secondary School where they want to take transfer admission.
The Leaving Higher Secondary School will verify the information (Name, Roll No, Stream, and Subject combination) provided by the students and provide remarks.
The Nodal Higher Secondary School will verify the student's documents and remark on their authenticity.
After verification, the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha, will take action and issue the order.
DHSE (0) approval is provisional and not a guarantee of admission. The student must collect the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) from the leaving school and report to the Transfer school within the specified timeline.
Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) should be issued only after the DHSE (O) transfer order is received.
Destination Higher Secondary Schools will update transfer admission details upon receiving the DHSE (0) order and HSSLC.
Students who have willingly taken the HSSLC without prior approval of the DHSE (O) transfer order will not be eligible for transfer admission.
Higher Secondary Schools must collect, verify, and keep DHSE (O) Transfer Orders for submission to CHSE (O) during Class-XIl Exam 2026 form fill-up.
Students can check the status of their applications in their respective SAMs login.

The Transfer Application Form for Class 12 is available in the student's login on the SAMS Portal of DHSE (O): 24/06/2025
Last date for applying online for the Transfer Application Form: 03/07/2025
Verification at the level of Higher Secondary School which the student will leave: 24/06/2025 to 4/07/2025
Document Verification at the District Nodal Higher Secondary School (SAMS): 25/06/2025 to 7/7/2025
Admission to the destination Higher Secondary School: 9/07/2025 to 16/07/2025
