New Delhi: The Supreme Court Thursday said sidelined Indian cricket board chief N. Srinivasan cannot contest any election to a board post as long as he was involved in a "conflict of interest" situation as an owner of IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

"No one who has any commercial interest in the BCCI events (including N. Srinivasan) shall be eligible for contesting the elections for any post whatsoever," the bench of Justice T.S. Thakur and Justice Fakkir Mohamed Ibrahim Kalifulla in its judgment said.
