Rourkela: The supervisor of a contractor was shot dead and a worker injured today by two gunmen at Rajgangpur near here.
Two gunmen having links with a gang came in a motorbike and shot dead the supervisor Madhab Minz, the police said.
He died on the spot and another worker was injured at the road construction site at Rajgangpur.
They also set ablaze road construction machine and shot bullets at a truck, the police said.
Shops and business establishments downed shutters in fear and senior police officers have rushed to the spot.
