Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai were one of Bollywood's most beloved couples in the 1990s. However, their relationship, which began during the shooting of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, eventually became one of the most talked-about breakups in Bollywood history.

Now, Salman Khan’s girlfriend at that time Somy Ali has opened up about how Aishwarya Rai and Salman Khan's love story began and how it drifted her and Salman apart and eventually led to their break-up.

Somy, who was staying with Salman at that time in his Galaxy Apartment, said that Aishwarya and Salman started seeing each other during the shooting of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.’

However, when the Josh actress started coming to Salman's gym where they were living, Somy stated that she knew in her heart that their (Salman and Ash) relationship was something that's gonna blossom. She knew it was time for her to leave.

During that period, Somy learned about Salman and Aishwarya's affair from household staff who favoured her at that time.
