New Delhi: Congress today trashed Team Anna`s allegations that their phones were being tapped and advised the activists to lodge a complaint with the police if they have any doubts.
"It is not necessary to answer allegations which are the product of a fertile imagination and involve only tilting at windmills without any factual basis," Congress spokesman Abhishek Singhvi said here.
Team Anna member Arvind Kejriwal had claimed yesterday that phones of activists connected with the anti-corruption campaign were being tapped. Another AICC spokesman Rashid Alvi dubbed Kejriwal`s claims as "baseless"
"There is no question of phone tapping at all. These are baseless allegations. If Team Anna have any doubt they should lodge an FIR," Alvi said.
