No wanted Indian criminal inside Bangladesh
"We have carried out extensive searches at different places inside the country in line with a list provided to Bangladesh by the Indian government but no such elements were found so far," Border Guard Bangladesh Director General Major General Anwar Hossain said.
Hossain said that search for such elements will continue and Bangladesh will not allow its territory to be used by foreign terrorists.
Officials familiar with the talks said frontier shootouts largely dominated the parleys.
Civilians should steer clear of the border line at night to avoid such incidents.
Border shoot outs have been a source of tension between the two countries, but after the summit between the two Prime Ministers, it has come down," Hossain added.
