Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the oldest running comedy sitcom. It has received immense love from fans and continues to entertain the television audience even now. Although fans loved the old episodes more than the current ones that are being aired, the love for TMKOC continues.
And one of the important part of TMKOC is Tappu Sena, especially Tappu and Soun who are childhood friends. Fans have seen these characters from their school days to now going to college and into adulthood. All through their journey of friendship on TMKOC, there was always a subtle hint of more than friendship between the bonding of Tappu and Sonu.
But it has also been obvious that Sonu’s father Bhide does not like Tappu and hence he always wants to keep his daughter away from Tappu. Bhide has been dreading all these years that one day Tappu and Sonu will marry and he is dead against this idea.

The current episodes of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah are focused on Tappu and Sonu not wanting to get married so soon. However, Bhide wants to get Sonu married earliest possible to ensure that she does not end up as bahu of the Gada family. Similarly, Champak Chahcha also wants Tappu to get married even though he is not interested in settling down so soon.
Then Tappu and Sonu shock the Gada and Bhide family by getting married in a temple and are eager to share a good news. At least that is what the current promos are showing. Many fans have said that it is the dream of Bhide who is always dreading that one day Tappu will marry Sonu. But most of the fans have slammedTMKOC makers for fooling around the bonding between two childhood friends.

A fan has called it a “waste episode” whereas others have said that the makers’ should take a break from the show for 6 to 8 months because they have run out of creative ideas. Another social media user has said that it is definitely the dream of Bhide and the old story eventually will be that Tappu and Sonu have not married and a new chapter will start from the next episode.
