MoS Railways Suresh Angadi Succumbs To COVID-19 In Delhi AIIMS

New Delhi: Minister of State for Railways Suresh Angadi today died of Covid-19 in AIIMS, New Delhi. He was 65 years old.

Angadi had tested positive for the virus on September 11. Though initially asymptomatic, he was later admitted to the dedicated Covid facility at the AIIMS Trauma Centre.

Suresh Angadi is the first member of the Union Cabinet to succumb to the disease.

He was a four-time Lok Sabha MP from Belagavi constituency of Karnataka.
