New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi returned to Delhi on Saturday after a three-nation tour of France, Germany, and Canada.

Modi began his nine-day official tour on April 9 from France. He then travelled to Germany, from where he flew to Canada. He visited Ottawa, Toronto and Vancouver in Canada.

Modi's aircraft made a brief stopover in Frankfurt for refuelling before heading to New Delhi from Vancouver.

During his visit, he connected with the Indian diaspora.

The three-nation tour was marked with the announcement on purchase of 36 Rafale fighter jets in France, clinching a five-year uranium supply deal with Canada, pushing the 'Make in India' initiative in Germany, and assuring all about the ease of doing business in India.
