Modi greets nation on Durga Ashtami

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday greeted the nation on the occasion of Durga Ashtami.

"Durga Puja greetings to my fellow Indians and those celebrating across the world. May Goddess Durga shower her blessings on us and enrich our lives with joy and prosperity," Modi said in a statement.

"With her (Goddess Durga) blessings, may good always prevail over evil and may all forms of injustice be removed from our society," added Modi.
