NPCIL recruitment 2025: 400 Executive Trainee vacancies announced

The Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) has announced 400 openings for Executive Trainee positions across six engineering disciplines. The recruitment drive is aimed at onboarding fresh talent into India’s growing nuclear power sector.

Vacancy Details and Eligibility

The available posts are spread across Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, and Civil engineering streams. Applicants must have a full-time BE, B.Tech, B.Sc (Engineering), or a 5-year integrated M.Tech qualification with at least 60% marks.

Candidates must also hold a valid GATE score from 2023, 2024, or 2025 in the discipline relevant to their degree.

Age Limit and Relaxations

The upper age limit for applicants is 26 years as of April 30, 2025. However, relaxations are applicable—three years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates and five years for SC/ST candidates, in line with government norms.

Selection Process

Shortlisting for interviews will be done based on GATE scores. Final selection will be determined after personal interviews with shortlisted candidates. No separate examination will be conducted.

Application Fee Details

Male candidates belonging to General, OBC, and EWS categories must pay an application fee of Rs. 500. However, female candidates, SC/ST candidates, PwBDs, ex-servicemen, dependents of defence personnel killed in action, and current NPCIL employees are exempted from the fee.
