Ahmedabad: Mild tremors measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale today shook Kutch district of Gujarat, district officials said.

The earthquake had its epicentre at Vamka taluka in Kutch, which is an active fault line, scientists at Institute of Seismological Research said.

After shocks measuring 2.9 on the Richter scale were also felt, they said.

However, no loss of life or damage to property has been reported so far, officials said.
