New Delhi: With the Centre’s announcement of Unlock 3, the Ministry of Home Affairs has allowed Yoga institutes and gymnasiums to re-open from August 5.

The Ministry has issued new guidelines on preventive measures to contain the spread of COVID19  in Yoga institutes & gymnasiums.

The generic preventive measures include simple public health measures that are to be followed to reduce the risk of COVID19. Some of the key measures include:

-Individuals must maintain 6 feet distance as far as feasible.

-Use of face covers/masks at all times within the premises.

-Respiratory etiquettes to be strictly followed

-Individuals are encouraged to carry separate workout shoes

-Equipment in gymnasiums is to be sanitised on a regular interval

-Installation of Aarogya Setu App shall be advised to all

-Practice frequent hand washing even when hands are not visibly dirty.

-Strict prohibition on spitting.
