Mamata welcomes visit of Hillary to Kolkata
Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today said she welcomed the visit of Hillary Clinton to Kolkata, but would not comment whether the US Secretary of State was scheduled to meet her.
“If she comes to Kolkata we welcome her. When it will be finalised you will come to know. I am holding an official position and till the finalisation of the official information I cannot comment on this,” Banerjee told reporters when asked whether Clinton would meet her. She said that leaders from China, Israel, Singapore and UK had earlier visited the state.
