Srinagar: In a bid to promote sports tourism, the Jammu and Kashmir government will develop a golf course in Leh.

"The government will develop a 18-hole golf course in Leh at an estimated cost of Rs 13.93 crore as part of its plan to complete a golfing circuit in the state," Tourism Minister Nawang Rigzin Jora said.

"This project will add another milestone after completion of 18-hole golf courses in Jammu, Gulmarg and Pahalgam," he added.
