New Delhi: CPI-M General Secretary Sitaram Yechury on Tuesday flayed the Narendra Modi government for what he said was giving sops to corporates and said the youth need jobs and not vigilantism.

"Two third of the country's population comprises youths; they need jobs and not this distraction of 'gau raksha' (cow protection) armies or vigilantism of anti-Romeo squads," the Communist Party of India-Marxist leader said in a video message posted on Facebook.
