New Delhi: The Delhi High Court on Wednesday issued a notice to premier Indian investigative agency, CBI on the bail pleas of Swan Telecom promoter Shahid Balwa and two other co-accused in the 2G spectrum allocation case.

A bench of Justice Ajit Bharihoke sought response from the probe agency and listed the bail applications of Shahid Balwa and Kusegaon Fruits and Vegetables Pvt Ltd promoters Asif Balwa and Rajeev Agarwal for hearing on June 10.

Earlier in the day, Justice Bharihoke dismissed the bail pleas of DMK MP Kanimozhi and Kalaignar TV MD Sharad Kumar in the case.

Swan Telecom promoter Balwa, Agarwal and Asif are in Tihar jail and their bail applications have been recently dismissed by a special CBI court.

While Balwa is accused of conspiring with former Telecom Minister A Raja and other DoT officials in getting the 2G licence, Agarwal and Asif -- charged by CBI in second charge sheet -- are accused of facilitating transaction of Rs 200 crore bribe to Kalaignar TV in lieu of grant of licence to Swan Telecom Pvt Ltd.

Kanimozhi and Sharad Kumar are accused of accepting the illegal gratification.
