The Paris Olympics 2024 is going on in full swing with athletes giving their all for their country. However, the Olympic Village has some strict rules, and athletes disobeying would be expelled. The mega event is witnessing the best sporting stars representing their countries to earn themselves and their nation's reputation globally.
The Olympic Village has its own set of rules that every athlete is supposed to follow.
As per the rules, the athletes can only reside with their own country’s team. They should not share apartments with an athlete from a different country. Moreover, friends and family members of the participating athletes are not allowed within the premises of the Olympic Village.
So, to make their stay memorable and date a fellow Olympian, the athletes are reportedly installing Tinder on their phones. However, the dating scene also isn’t easy inside the Olympic village.
Recently, an athlete from America revealed what it’s like to use dating apps inside the Olympic Village.
“So, I was laying in my cardboard bed the other day recovering and I was scrolling through TikTok and I was seeing the girlies saying ‘hey change your change location to the Olympic village’ and I was like ‘oh my gosh genius’,” US athlete Emily Delleman told her followers on TikTok.
However, she later revealed that she could not match with anyone as everyone was focused on their matches. As per reports, there was ban on ‘intimacy’ and dating during the Tokyo Olympics in 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
