Hathras(Uttar Pradesh): Five persons were killed and more than 20 hospitalised after inhaling ammonia gas leaking from a cold storage plant in Sadabad area here, police said today.

The workers at the cold storage noticed a pungent smell and soon started complaining of breathlessness while some of them fell unconscious yesterday. Those taken ill were rushed to the hospital, where their condition was stated to be stable.
