Jaipur: Pune stud farm owner Hasan Ali has been named in an FIR along with four others for allegedly duping a man of Rs 24 lakh, police said here on Monday.

SHO Vaishali Nagar Raisingh Beniwal said that the complainant Ramesh Kumar, in his FIR lodged on Saturday, has alleged that he finalised a deal with a city based property firm to purchase a shop in a building at Vaishali Nagar.

He gave Rs 24 lakh to the property firm run by four persons identified as Anil Kumar, Raju Bhai Khandelwal, Ravi Mathur, Anuj Mathur for the shop but the firm did not give him the possession of the shop. When he demanded his money back, the firm owners refused to return the amount.

The four accused also threatened him and refused to return the amount saying that they all are associated with financer Hasan Ali, who is accused of stashing away black money in banks abroad.

"We have recorded the complainant`s statement. We are probing everyone`s involvement and their role, including Hasan Ali," Beniwal said.
