New Delhi: In order to tackle the requirement of medical oxygen in the wake of the raging second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has started installing five medical oxygen plants in Delhi and Haryana.

Four such plants are being installed in Delhi at AIIMS Trauma Centre, Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital (RML), Safdarjung Hospital and Lady Hardinge Medical College, while the fifth plant is being installed at AIIMS Jhajjar in Haryana.
