Agra: Agra district authorities have managed to trace back a suspected case of coronavirus who fled from her Bengaluru home.
The 25-year-old woman from Bengaluru was traced at her home in railway colony here on Friday.
Her father had told health officials that she had taken a train to New Delhi.
Her disappearance caused panic, but under pressure from senior district officials, the truth was out. She was immediately taken to the isolation ward of the SN Medical College, where she is under treatment.
Police officials said the woman had fled from Bengaluru, a few days ago, after her husband, working for the Google, tested positive for COVID-19.
The couple had returned from Italy after a honeymoon, it is learnt.
Meanwhile, railway authorities have asked her father and sister, not to report for duty for 14 days. The family of eight members is under strict watch.
Earlier in the day, a Peruvian national and three Indians including a nine-month-old child have been admitted to an isolation ward of a government hospital here with symptoms of novel Coronavirus, a senior official of the state health department said on Saturday.
The 27-year-old man from Peru has been admitted to the isolation ward of the Beliaghata ID Hospital and his blood and swab samples have been sent for examination, the official said.
The man has a history of asthma and bronchitis and is down with fever and cough, both symptoms of novel coronavirus, he said.
Two Indians, who had travelled to Mayapur, the headquarters of the ISKCON during the Holi festival last week, have been kept under watch at the same ward, the official said.
"One of the two recently returned from Saudi Arabia and complained of fever and cold. Their blood samples and swabs have been collected," he added.
The nine-month-old child, who has a history of traveling from Kuwait, is also undergoing treatment at the isolation ward, the official added.
Meanwhile, all the five people including an Italian couple and a Thai national, who were admitted to the isolation ward, were discharged from the Beliaghata ID Hospital after testing negative for novel Coronavirus, he added.

Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri on Saturday said so far nearly 12 lakh passengers coming from abroad have been screened for Coronavirus at various airports across the country.
Speaking at "Wings India 2020" an aviation-related event being held here, the Union Minister said there would be a drop of 15 to 20 per cent in domestic air traffic for time being due to the virus concerns.
He further said, out of over 11 lakh passengers who were screened at 30 airports only 3,225 were referred to tests.
Indian airports have "set up a benchmark" for other countries in terms of taking precautionary measures such as screening and making facilities available at aerodromes in the wake of the virus outbreak, he added.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday took to Twitter to share the health ministry's guidelines on home quarantine.
"Some important information here. Do read," he said while sharing the guidelines.
The health ministry said home quarantine is meant "to protect you and your loved ones."

According to the guidelines, those quarantined at home should stay in a well-ventilated single-room, preferably with an attached or separate toilet.
If another family member needs to stay in the same room, it's advisable to maintain a distance of at least a metre between the two.
Quarantined individuals must stay away from the elderly, pregnant women, children and persons with comorbidity within the household as their immunity may be low.
