A 108-ft monumental Tricolour was unfurled at Ramai High School in Odisha’s Patnagarh on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. The Flag Foundation of India (FFOI) unfurled the Tricolour in the presence of Odisha Deputy CM KV Singh Deo.

With the historic moment, the FFOI continued its mission to promote the display of the Indian National flag with pride and honour, and to raise awareness about its significance. On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, FFOI dedicated the monumental flag, which was dedicated to the nation by FFOI President Naveen Jindal.

Apart from Deputy CM KV Singh Deo, the monumental flag dedication ceremony was also attended by distinguished leaders and senior officers of the Indian Army.

“It is a great honour to stand under the shadow of our Tiranga. Even martyrs return with the Tiranga wrapped around them after sacrificing their lives for the country. This is indeed a proud moment,” said Deputy CM KV Singh Deo.

“I want to thank everyone on the behalf of Flag Foundation of India President Naveen Jindal and Jindal Foundation chairperson Shalu Jindal for unfurling the 108-feet monumental Tricolour in Patnagarh. This will forever be itched in the history of India,” said Prashant Hota, Group Head, Jindal CSR.

“The Tricolour is a common factor of inspiration for every Indian. It is a true expression of pride for our motherland. To take this victory beyond pure symbolism and translate it into action, the FFOI is undertaking various projects motivating the people of our country to draw inspiration from the National Flag and work for the betterment of the nation,” he added.
