New Delhi: India's lunar mission will not only boost its science and technology but also help all space-faring nations to eventually set up man's permanent presence on the Moon, says former NASA astronaut Jerry Linenger as the countdown for the Chandrayaan-2 spacecraft to land on the celestial body nears its end.

Indian Space Research Organisation's (ISRO) Chandrayaan-2 spacecraft is set to land on the Moon anytime between 1.30 am and 2.30 am on September 7 (Saturday).
