SUBHADRA Yojana registration guide for Odisha residents: Dos and don'ts you should know

The BJP government's SUBHADRA Yojana registration starts today in Odisha. Forms are available at Anganwadi centres, Block offices, Mo Seva Kendras, and Jan Seva Kendras. Applicants must submit forms at Mo Seva Kendras or Common Seva Kendras. Essential documents include Aadhaar card, linked mobile number, income certificate, and E-KYC. Women from families with income above Rs 2.5L, owning four-wheelers, or receiving other government assistance may be excluded.

The registration for the BJP government’s ambitious Subhadra Yojana in Odisha will start today i.e. Sunday. The state government has already issued guidelines for Subhadra Yojana and the entire application process is free of cost. Forms will be available at all the Anganwadi centers, Block offices, Mo Seva Kendras, and Jan Seva Kendras. 

After filling up the forms, applicants will have to submit the form in nearby Mo Seva Kendras or Common Seva Kendras.

As the registration process begins, here are a few Dos and Don’ts you should know:

Dos:
1.    Birth date proof documents 

2.    Aadhaar card is mandatory
3.   A mobile number linked to an Aadhaar card is crucial
4.    Income certificate of family head
5.    Ration Card 
6.    Mandatory E-KYC

Don’ts

1.    Women coming from families with more than Rs 2.5L will not be included in the beneficiary list
2.    Application of families owning four-wheelers will be rejected
3.    Government job holders and people’s representatives are exempted from the scheme
4.    Beneficiaries receiving other government assistance may not be included in the scheme.
5.    Women below 21 years of age and above 60 years are not eligible.
6.    A woman getting assistance of Rs 1500 or more monthly or Rs 18000 or more yearly under any government yojana-like pension won’t be eligible.
7.    Anganwadi workers, ASHA workers, and community resource persons can also apply for SUBHADRA money.

Under SUBHADRA Yojana, an eligible beneficiary will receive Rs 10,000 in two equal installments of Rs 5000 each year for five years.

Meanwhile, the Department of Women and Child Development issued a Toll-Free number-14678 which will remain open from 6 AM to 10 PM. For any information about the yojana, anyone can call during the given time.
