Medinipur (WB): A bomb scare delayed the Dhauli Express for about an hour as it was detained at Belda station, about 55 km from here, for search operation, railway sources said.

The station master of the Belda received an anonymous phone call claiming a bomb was planted in a compartment of the Howrah-Bhubaneswar Dhauli Express this morning. The train was stopped at Belda and Government Railway Police (GRP) conducted a thorough search, but nothing was found. Later the train resumed its onward journey, the sources said.
