Rajahmundry: The Congress party's Rajahmundry MP Vundavalli Arun Kumar said here today that unless unanimous resolution for a separate Telangana state is passed in both Andhra Pradesh assembly and the Parliament, it would be opposed.
"Unanimous resolution should be passed in both AP assembly and the Parliament to declare Telangana a separate state. Without such a unanimous resolution, we will seriously object to the declaration of separate statehood," he said.
Instead of political parties commenting on Telangana and frequent visit to New Delhi, an initiative must be launched to seek the opinion of people from Andhra, Rayalaseema and Telangana, he said.
