New Delhi: The heads of two Central police organisations -- CRPF and BPRD -- on Saturday said they had filed their annual returns pertaining to immovable property well in time, clearing the confusion caused by an official website which had not uploaded their details.

Director General of CRPF K Vijay Kumar and head of Bureau of Police Research and Development Vikram Srivastava said they had filed their returns in time and it was not their responsibility if the same was not uploaded on the website of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).

The MHA has started a new section of showing Immovable Property Returns (IPR) in its website in which the assets of IPS officers was to be displayed. The officials were asked to submit their IPR by May 31 following which the same would be made public.

While the assets of a host of IPS officials like the Intelligence Bureau Director, Special Protection Group (SPG), BSF and CISF has been uploaded on the website, the column showing assets of some heads of central police forces were blank.

The officials said they had submitted their returns but the same was not reflected in the newly-started section of the official website.

When contacted, BPRD Director General Vikram Srivastava said he "has submitted details of his immovable properties well in time to the Ministry of Home Affairs and to the state government (Uttar Pradesh) as per instructions."

"I am not aware as to why it is not reflecting on the website (of the MHA)," he said.

CRPF chief K Vijay Kumar said he had also submitted details of his assets to the MHA.
