Bangalore: About 90 undertrials in Bangalore Central Jail at Parappana Agrahara were hospitalised over the past few days due to suspected water contamination.
About 25 of them suffered from symptoms of gastroenteritis on Tuesday, another 20 had vomitting and diarrhea yesterday and today at least 50 more fell ill, jail authorities said here today. All of them were treated at the jail hospital and are stated to be out of danger, they said.
