New Delhi: About 65.4 per cent of the people across the country and 76.9 per cent of the people in Assam want the National Register of Citizens to be implemented across India while 66 per cent of the Muslim community opposes the idea, according to an IANS-CVoter survey.

The snap poll was carried out on over 3,000 citizens across the country between December 17 to 19 with booster sample of over 500 people each in Assam, the northeast and Muslim community collected during the same period.
