New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Monday adjourned a hearing on former Congress leader Sajjan Kumar's bail plea in a 1984 anti-Sikh riots case as the CBI opposed it on the ground that it will have bearing on a similar case under trial in which Kumar is again an accused.

A bench of Justice S.A. Bobde and Justice S. Abdul Nazeer directed the hearing of the matter to April 15, asking the Central Bureau of Investigation for the status of the trial in the other case, number of witnesses examined and the others yet to be examined.
