The Indian Air Force on Tuesday destroyed a terror camp across the Line of Control (LoC). Following the attack Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi summoned an emergency meeting in Islamabad to discuss security situation.

India Foreign Secretary Vijay K. Gokhale told the media that the "non-military pre-emptive action was specifically targeted at the terrorist camp" which he said was located on a hill top at Balakot, about 195 km from Islamabad in the province Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Meanwhile, a pro-Pakistan Twitter handle "Pakistan Defence" has been severely trolled for a tweet posted late last night before the air strike.
